Refund Policy

Last Updated: February 7, 2026

1. Overview

Slate and Pixel LLC d/b/a GoodPostal ("GoodPostal," "we," "us") wants you to be satisfied with our Service. This Refund Policy describes the circumstances under which you may be eligible for a refund and how to request one.

2. SaaS Subscription Refunds

2.1 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

New subscribers to the GoodPostal or GoodPostal Nonprofit plan are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of their first payment. This applies to your initial subscription only, not to renewals or subsequent billing periods.

To qualify for the 14-day money-back guarantee:

  • It must be your first paid subscription to GoodPostal.
  • You must request the refund within 14 calendar days of the charge.
  • The refund request must be submitted by email to support@goodpostal.com.

2.2 After the 14-Day Period

After the initial 14-day period, we do not issue refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel your subscription mid-cycle, you will retain access to the Service through the end of the current billing period, but no refund will be issued for the unused portion.

2.3 Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are eligible for the same 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable. If you cancel an annual subscription, you will retain access through the end of the annual billing period.

3. Billing Interval Changes and Credits

When you switch your billing interval from monthly to annual, or from annual to monthly, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No prorated credits are issued for interval changes.

Billing interval changes are made through the Stripe Customer Portal. After the initial 14-day money-back period, any amounts already paid are non-refundable.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your workspace Billing settings or by contacting support@goodpostal.com. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
  • You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods.
  • Your account will become view-only at the end of the billing period (no Free plan).
  • Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation, during which time you can reactivate or export your data.

5. GoodPostal Nonprofit Plan

The GoodPostal Nonprofit plan ($9.50/month or $114/year for verified 501(c)(3) organizations) follows the same refund terms as the GoodPostal plan: a 14-day money-back guarantee on the first payment, and no refunds for partial billing periods thereafter.

If your nonprofit verification is denied, you will not be charged the nonprofit rate. If you were already charged at the nonprofit rate and verification is later revoked, your plan will revert to standard pricing at the next billing cycle.

6. Self-Hosted and Laravel Package Licenses

Self-hosted and Laravel package licenses are not yet available. The following terms will apply when they become available.

Self-hosted licenses and Laravel package licenses are one-time purchases that include access to source code. Because source code is delivered immediately upon purchase, these licenses are non-refundable.

If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the software, please contact us at support@goodpostal.com and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, send an email to:

Please include:

  • The email address associated with your GoodPostal account
  • Your workspace name
  • The date of the charge
  • The reason for your refund request

8. Processing Timeline

We aim to review and respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. Once approved, refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days, depending on your payment provider.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We are unable to issue refunds to a different payment method.

9. Exceptions

We reserve the right to deny refund requests in the following circumstances:

  • Terms violation: your account was suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Abuse: the refund request appears to be part of a pattern of abuse (e.g., repeated sign-ups and refund requests).
  • Chargebacks: if you initiate a chargeback with your bank instead of contacting us, your account will be suspended and the refund request will not be processed through our system.
