How does pricing work?
There is one paid plan: GoodPostal, at $19/month or $190/year. Your sends are metered at $0.05 per 1,000, billed from the very first email, with no included allowance to track. Store as many contacts as you like and your price does not change. Verified nonprofits pay $9.50/month or $114/year for the same plan. Every feature is included on every account.
What happens when I send more emails?
Nothing breaks and your campaign never pauses. Every send is metered at $0.05 per 1,000, from the first email, on top of your $19 plan. So if you send 80,000 emails in a month, you pay $19 plus $4.00, which is $23.00 that month. There is no included allowance, no hard cap, and no forced upgrade.
Will a surprise bill ever hit me?
No. Your bill is your $19 plan plus metered sends at $0.05 per 1,000, and you only send when you press Send. At 5 cents per 1,000 even a large campaign adds very little: 100,000 sends is $5. You can watch your usage any time on the billing page, so the bill never surprises you.
Do my contacts affect my bill?
No. There is no per-contact pricing. Ever. Store as many contacts as you like on any paid plan and your price does not change. Your bill moves only when you send more email, and you control that by pressing Send. Your audience size never touches your bill.
Can I switch between plans?
There is just one paid plan, so there are no tiers to move between. If you start on monthly billing and want to move to annual, you can switch on your billing page inside GoodPostal at any time.
Can I save by paying annually?
Yes. GoodPostal annual is $190 a year, which is two months free compared to paying monthly. Verified nonprofits pay $114 a year, 12 times their monthly rate; the two-months-free discount applies to the standard plan only. Your sends are still counted at $0.05 per 1,000 either way, and send fees are invoiced monthly on both plans. So on annual billing you pay the plan price once a year and a small send fee invoice at the end of each month you send in.
Do you offer nonprofit pricing?
Yes. Verified 501(c)(3) nonprofits get the GoodPostal plan at $9.50/month or $114/year, the same $0.05 per 1,000 metered send rate, and the same features as everyone else. Visit the nonprofits page for full details on eligibility and verification.
What if I need more than 1,000,000 sends a month?
You are covered automatically. There is no per-plan ceiling. Sends are simply metered at $0.05 per 1,000 at any volume. If you are sending many millions a month and want custom volume pricing, email support@goodpostal.com and we will set it up.
What does Storage include?
Storage measures every piece of content you create in GoodPostal:
- Contacts (each contact plus their custom fields)
- Templates and template versions
- Campaigns (including the email design and copy)
- Images uploaded to your media library
- Subscription forms
- Recipient data (who received which campaign)
- Analytics events (opens, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes)
Audit logs, system records, and platform metadata do not count toward your storage limit. You only pay for the content you create.
