In the dashboard, go to Billing, Nonprofit Verification, and enter your 9-digit EIN.

Get verified
We check your EIN against the IRS Business Master File. Once verified, your plan switches to the nonprofit rate on your next billing cycle.

Who qualifies for nonprofit pricing?
Any US-based 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization with a valid EIN. International nonprofits and other entity types (501(c)(4), 501(c)(6), etc.) are not currently supported for automated verification. Contact support@goodpostal.com for manual review.
What if my EIN is not found in the IRS database?
If automated verification fails, you can upload your IRS determination letter or 501(c)(3) documentation as supporting evidence. Our team will manually review your application within 1 to 2 business days.
Can I apply after paying for a plan?
Absolutely. Navigate to Billing, then Nonprofit Verification at any time. Once verified, the difference is prorated and your billing adjusts to the nonprofit rate on your next cycle.
How does sending work on the GoodPostal Nonprofit plan?
You pay for what you send, not for your contact list. The GoodPostal Nonprofit plan is $9.50/month or $114/year, and every send is metered at $0.05 per 1,000 from the first email, with no included allowance and no hard cap. Store as many contacts as you like; your bill only moves when you send.
Is the GoodPostal Nonprofit plan the same as GoodPostal?
Yes. The GoodPostal Nonprofit plan is the full GoodPostal plan at half the software fee: every feature, the same $0.05 per 1,000 metered send rate, unlimited contacts. The only difference is the price, $9.50/month instead of $19.
